Position Summary
We’re hiring a Hardscape Installation Foreman to lead daily field execution for high-quality outdoor construction projects. This person will run their own crew, keep jobs moving safely and efficiently, and make sure patios, walkways, steps, retaining walls, grading, base prep, and other hardscape features are completed accurately and cleanly.
This role is a key field leadership position and also supports snow and ice management during the winter season.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a crew to complete hardscape projects safely, efficiently, and with quality in mind
- Read site plans and translate them into clear field direction
- Run laser levels and verify layout, grade, pitch, and elevations
- Operate mini excavators, skid steers, and tracked equipment safely and efficiently
- Install patios, walkways, stairs, retaining walls, edging, and other hardscape features
- Oversee excavation, grading, base preparation, and material installation
- Maintain safe, clean, organized jobsites
- Track time, notes, and job information in Synked Up each day
- Communicate issues early and coordinate with project managers to keep work moving
- Support snow and ice operations during winter events, if needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in hardscape or landscape construction
- Proven ability to lead a field crew and hold a high standard for workmanship
- Ability to read site plans and run laser levels accurately
- Experience operating tracked equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Strong communication and problem-solving in the field
- Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and support snow operations in winter
- Adherence to our zero-tolerance alcohol and drug policy
- Fluency in English
